The alarm did not ring
Wakeful plays the alarm itself, so it has to be running. Swiping the app out of the app switcher turns the alarm down to what iOS can do on its own. Settings › Alarm not working? inside the app has a test alarm that shows you what your phone will actually do.
Deleting your data
Settings › Delete account removes the anonymous session and everything attached to it — alarms, mornings, streak — with no backup to restore it from. There is no login, so this cannot be undone.
